Tissue Paper Art

Looking for simple abstract art that wouldn't break the bank or require tons of artistic skill I found myself buying special tissue paper on the internet. It truly is so easy to do with fabulous and unexpected results. You'll never get 2 the same!

Bargain canvases from the craft store are brushed liberally with water.

Tissue paper is cut up into strips or shapes...

...and placed on the canvas. Allow to dry for sharper shapes or apply more water to the tissue for a fuzzier look.

Allow the paper to dry completely and remove to reveal beautiful and unique art!
