Take a simple wooden crate and turn it into a holiday decoration that you'll enjoy for years to come. The nativity seemed like a good fit for our home, after adding all the elements this project came together and kicked off the Christmas Season perfectly.Wood crates like this can be purchased at Home Depot or Michaels. You could also make one from scratch. Make sure to sand out any rough spots before applying the stain.I stained this crate with a dark walnut, it's my favorite and matches other projects in our home. The star, berry and ribbon elements really make this project it's own. Some of these pieces were upcycled and a few purchased new.The Holiday Crate x10 was a fantastic opportunity to team up with other bloggers for some Christmas Creativity. Hope you stop by to see what everybody else did. All these projects are simple and easy to implement.
