Flannel Wrapped Winter Holiday Wreath

After making several other flannel projects, I had scraps leftover and thrifted flannel shirts to spare. So why not put them to good use in a cozy, holiday wreath?

I just LOVE flannel shirts from the thrift store. I had used pieces from each of these flannel shirts on other projects...and had plenty leftover. What to do, what to do...so I grabbed a straw wreath form and decided to create something cozy and festive for our front door.

I cut out strips of flannel and used hot glue to secure it to the wreath. I did this all the way around the wreath, alternating flannel pieces as I went.

I did this again and again until the entire wreath was covered! Then, I added some seasonal faux greenery, pinecones, and red berries to give it the final "winter cabin" look. The perfect Christmas/winter holiday wreath that looks like it belongs on a mountain cabin- I just love how cozy it is. :)
