This painting is called 'A Gentle Breeze',it is 36 inches x 48 inches acrylic on canvas and is one of my all time favourites. I painted a similar one and in a moment of madness gave it to my daughter!! Just kidding! So this one I did just for me. It is tranquil and dreamy. This painting is called 'Remember When?' It is 24 inches x 36 inches and I painted it for my parents when they emigrated from the UK to Canada in 2006. Just 2 months before my mum turned 80! How amazing is that. They are now proud Canadian Citizens.
Meet 'The Three Amigos' don't they look just swell? The painting is 36 inches x 36 inches Acrylic on Canvas. There is no story behind this other than I love poppies. Sometimes I try hiding my red paint so that I paint other things but I somehow manage to find it again!
Here is one I did manage to paint when my red paint was hiding. It is a cute little pear, just 12 inches x12 inches. He looked so lonely after I finished him so I painted him a mate. A pair of perfect pears!
Here is his perfect partner.
Oh look, I found the red paint! This one is called 'Single Poppy on Blue' 36 inches x 36inches. Just because......
This next painting was done with acrylic paint onto raw canvas. It gives the effect of a watercolour painting. It is called 'Hydrangea Glow' 24 inches x 24 inches.
And finally 'Peaceful Dogwood', 12 inches x 24 inches. I am fortunate that I live in Beautiful British Columbia on the west coast of Canada. The Dogwood is the flower of our Province. It is the most glorious flowering tree, that heralds the start of Spring each year.
