Star Wars Family Command Center

I made this Star Wars family command center using an old dry erase board I had. The only thing I purchased were the small frames from a dollar stores. The quote on the board and the planet magnet graphics are a free download on my site. (pdf and silhouette version.) This was a fun project!

I covered the center with paper and spray painted the frame silver.

I used chalkboard contact paper to cover the bottom half of the board.

I bought four small frames from the dollar store for each family member to place on the top dry erase area which is for notes.

I wanted a container of some type on the bottom. I could have made this from a variety of things but I had a small long shipping box that was perfect. I covered it with the chalkboard contact paper and glued it on.

My dry erase board was also magnetic so I decided to make some Star Wars planet magnets using wood rounds.

The planet graphics are a free download on my site post. I use Mod Podge to glue them onto the wood rounds.

I wanted to utilize a lightsaber somehow. I found an old chalk holder I'd had for years and it already looked like one. I spray painted it and drew on some lights and lines to complete the look.

I attached cup hooks on each side (I painted them silver first.) to hold keys. The quote you see is a free download on my site post. Though you can easily make your own.

Here is a breakdown of the board. This project had LOTS of photos and details. Many more are shown on my site below.
