Gumball Machine ~ Merry & Bright!

If it's red it's fair game at my house for holiday decorating not sure what it is but there is just something about old gumball machines...

Thrift store are great places to get old Christmas lights, I bought a couple boxes for 90 cents each...doesn't matter if they work I just wanted the bulbs!





Bet you can see where I'm going with this...





I knew I didn't have enough bulbs to fill my machine so I cut a water bottle to take up some of the space, popped a hole in the bottom and slid it over the rod...





The tinsel was a last minute decision...I'm not a huge fan of tinsel but it worked!
It hid my spacer, cushioned the bulbs and added a little bling - win!
