Evergreen Basket Without the Price Tag

I love browsing at a gorgeous floral shop during the holidays but hate the expensive prices. Why buy and eventually toss when you can create something of your own to keep?

I began with a great wooden basket I had been saving. I rummaged through my stash of Christmas greens, added a couple new pieces and got to work.

I used two sad broken spruce tops and tucked in a sprig of English ivy.

Next came the splash of red with these shiny berries.

I wired together some cast-off snippets and placed them front and center.

A quick, simple bow and there you have it!
