Flocked trees make my heart leap a little bit...so when I spotted this tabletop flocked tree at Goodwill for $3.99, I bought it, even though it had a broken stand and was looking rather sad.I rigged a system to make my tree stand up (you can read more about that on my blog - link is below), and this year I turned it into a Coca-Cola themed tree!Lights and a red burlap garland were added first, and then I loaded the tree up with Coca-Cola items I bought last year, at the after-Christmas-clearance sale.Adorable plush polar bears, vintage Santas with bottle brush trees and more.I created my own DIY painted ornaments, some which got mini Coke bottle stencils that I made with my Silhouette machine, black spray paint and black glitter. The red painted ornaments got frosty monograms, one for every person in my family. Gingham bows finish them off. It's an adorable tree that makes everyone smile - and to think it started with something broken and discarded, probably headed for the trash!
