Simply Adding More Desk Storage

Having recently moved, trying to make my old office things fit into a new room hasn't gone as well as planned. More windows and doors means less wall space to put my filing cabinets that were the heart of my storage system. In the end I had to come up with a new way to store just as much stuff without taking up any more wall space.

Having just arrived and needing to get to work I threw my old desk back together and shoved it in the corner. It wasn't a perfect fit as it was custom made by my father for the old office but it still worked and for that I was grateful.





Without the filing cabinets I had in my previous office things started getting messy quickly. About a week in I realized that this just wasn't going to do as my mess got bigger and things got more difficult to locate.





Finding storage cubes on clearance online I was able to purchase enough to rest beneath my table top. The old legs removed and the new shelves built and shimmied beneath turned all of that wasted space into more storage space than I even really need right now!





It's clean and easy to keep up with and everything has a place and I'm in love. I hope you'll check out more of the details on my blog!
